Correll Buckhalter
A resilient competitor, Buckhalter provides an excellent change of pace in the backfield with his good combination of size and speed. Buckhalter was a fourth round draft choice of the Eagles in 2001 out of Nebraska.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• With 586 yards on just 129 carries in 2001, broke the Eagles rookie rushing record set by Keith Byars (177-577) in 1986
• Also broke the club's single-game rookie mark with 134 yards on 21 carries (6.4 avg.) in his first NFL start vs. Arz. (10/7/01). Steve Van Buren (129 yards on 11/5/44) previously held that mark. Became the first Eagles rookie to rush for 100 yards in first start since Charlie Garner (16-129-2TDs) on 10/2/94 at SF
